Welcome! This web site contains programs and other odds and ends regarding the program Anarchy Online, created by the company FunCom. All of my programs are "third-party" programs; I am not a FunCom employee, simply a player that has written a few utilities to help fellow players out. News
August 29, 2006 - ClickSaver has been patched to version 2.3.2, to work after Anarchy Online's 16.3 patch.
December 11, 2005 - Pattern Matcher is now at version 1.3.4. This version will work post the 16.1 patch, meaning you no longer have to use the "work around" posted to make Pattern Matcher work after the patch. December 10, 2005 - Anarchy Mainframe changed their URL from aodb.info to www.aomainframe.net. AOIS has been updated to 2.2.3 to reflect this new change. Since Jayde provided three addresses (all of which point to the same site), AOIS will let you choose from any of those three or to use Auno's website. November 30, 2005 - AOIS is now at version 2.2.2, fixing a minor bug with Item Loader. November 28, 2005 - AOIS is now at version 2.2.1, updated to work post the 16.1 patch. November 24, 2005 - Unfortunately the 16.1 patch changed the way data is handled, and this resulted in AOIS, Pattern Matcher, and Character Profiler giving strange results. I'll get a fix to it as soon as I can, starting with AOIS. October 25, 2005 - Chat Alert has been updated to 1.4.1, fixing a rather elusive bug regarding very large log files. October 15, 2005 - A few days back I had a chat with a newer player about MPs, and the topic of MP functionality compared to other professions came up. That got me thinking about a piece of MP history known as "Black Sunday" ... and how this little bit of lore is becoming lost. So, this afternoon I sat down with a few screenshots and made a brief page on it here. September 30, 2005 - After speaking with Gnarf, I have agreed to be the "official" website for the program ClickSaver. Gnarf's site will now redirect to the webpage on this server. As of this time, the latest versions are still 2.3.1 and 2.3.0 beta 3. August 21, 2005 - Chat Alert is now at version 1.4.0. This version brings several new features, such as much simpler utilization by "auto-scanning" to find your log file and support for multi-line chat text matching. July 16, 2005 - Minor update to Chat Alert, raising the number of phrase/sound pairs to a much higher number. This should solve the problem of errors occurring with very large alert file sizes. July 15, 2005 - The Chat Alert program is now at 1.2.0. This version supports delays between when a phrase is found and when a sound is played, so you can time when a program will run out (such as UBT at a raid). June 17, 2005 - The Chat Alert program has been updated to 1.1.1, bring with it XP/SK over time monitoring and matching for "partial" matches. Also, Character Profiler is still being developed - up to version 1.0.5 at the moment. June 8, 2005 - The Character Profiler program is now a stand-alone project and is no longer combined with AOIS. The new Character Profiler (version 1.0.2 as of this writing) will read in a character's equipped items, their statistics (such as skill amounts in Computer Literacy, Treatment, Strength, and so on) and output the results in HTML, XML, and a format compatible with Nillian's AO Emulator. Also, a quick update to Pattern Matcher to finally add support for two more pocket bosses - Anansi and Anansi's Adherent. June 7, 2005 - Pattern Matcher is now at version 1.3.2, fixing a bug regarding duplicate backpacks and how temporary information was stored. May 7, 2005 - Pattern Matcher is now at version 1.3.1, revised to work with the 15.9 patch and the new "Shadowlands Boss" patterns. It also includes support for "partial matching" of incomplete patterns (such as AB+C only). April 26, 2005 - The 15.9 patch has hit the Live servers. AOIS and Character Profiler have been updated to work with 15.9. I'm holding onto Pattern Matcher for a little bit longer to be sure it will work with the new "Shadowlands Boss" patterns, and will post an updated Pattern Matcher as soon as possible. April 22, 2005 - The upcoming 15.9 patch involves some changes to AO's infrastructure and will require changes to AOIS and Pattern Matcher. I have made fixes for those programs in anticipation of the 15.9 patch, and will have them available on the website on the day of the patch. Also, since ClickSaver will need to be updated as well, I took the liberty of making a post 15.9 compatible version. You can find a version of ClickSaver that will work with version 15.9 here. April 9, 2005 - I've uploaded the source code for my programs onto the web site, in their respective pages. Item Parser and AOIS are both on the AOIS page. February 15, 2005 - AOIS updated to version 2.1.0, bringing NODROP and UNIQUE tagging and filtering, as well as the option to link to either auno.org or aodb.info. February 11, 2005 - I've written a new program called the Character Profiler, which writes to disk the items on your character (implants, weapons, armor, etc). Since it shares so much in common with AOIS (and in fact requires the Item Parser from AOIS to run), I've included it in the AOIS package and updated AOIS to 2.0.0. January 21, 2005 - The server that this webpage uses will be physically moved tomorrow (the 22nd) at around 10:30 PM Pacific time. The downtime shouldn't be more than around 20 minutes; sorry for the inconvenience. January 9, 2005 - Pattern Matcher is updated to 1.2.2. This fixes the unused pattern graph so the QL 192 and QL 195 Shake bosses are completely seperated. December 20, 2004 - I've created another program called the Log Reviewer, which will read in a chat log file and parse out a chosen channel. Link to it is here. December 13, 2004 - AOIS updated to version 1.9.0. Now there are two ways to download the program - either as a simple directory (like it has been all along) or as an actual set-up file. This hopefully will ensure that all the required files are being installed, and avoid ActiveX problems that a few people have reported. December 7, 2004 - AOIS updated to version 1.8.2, with support for numbering of stacked items. December 7, 2004 - AOIS updated to version 1.8.1. December 2, 2004 - AOIS v1.8.0 is now available - this version offers support for renaming of backpacks. November 25, 2004 - Funcom has now patched Anarchy Online to version 14.7.0, and this brings renaming of backpacks! Hurray! Unfortunately the computer that AOIS is compiled on took a major system crash a few days back, and the patch caught me unawares. Hopefully I'll be able to release the next version of AOIS, with renamed backpack support, sometime in the near future. November 20, 2004 - The site is far from inactive! Lately I've been working on a new version of Chat Alert, based on an idea that a friend gave me - what if there was a program that would monitor your XP (or SK) gained over time, so you can see how "efficient" you're doing? So you can plan how long it'll take to reach the next level? That's under development, as well as a version of AOIS with support for the renaming of backpacks. October 12, 2004 - GridStream Productions has kindly made a radio ad for the site! Hurray! October 1, 2004 - Ah, memories. In chatting with someone about the long-ago days of AO (back in beta), we were looking over the old map of Rubi-Ka. It's interesting, in a historical way, to see the "preliminary" plans for some of the zones that never opened (like the Plains of Salt) and how some areas changed between concept and use (like MeetMeDere and Jobe). I found an old link to this map and have it stored on the server; you can find it by clicking on "Ancient map of Rubi-Ka" to the left. September 5, 2004 - The Chat Alert program is out of beta, and version 1.0.0 is now available for download. September 4, 2004 - Pattern Matcher has been updated to work with the Alien Invasion expansion pack, as of version 1.2.1. September 3, 2004 - AOIS has been updated to work with the Alien Invasion expansion pack, as of version 1.7.4. September 1, 2004 - The Alien Invasion expansion pack is here! Unfortunately, the format for backpack storage was changed with the latest patch, which means the component that reads in backpack information in AOIS and Pattern Matcher needs to be updated. I'll have new versions up as soon as possible. August 29, 2004 - Pattern Matcher has been updated to version 1.2.0. The program now includes a graph to display your unused pattern pieces in a graph, to easily see which pieces you'd need in order to create a full pattern. August 19, 2004 - I have created a new program called Chat Alert. It will watch your Anarchy Online system chat, and give you a audio cue when a certain phrase of text appears - for example, when your first aid skill recycles and "First Aid Skill Available" is displayed, a sound will be played. The text to watch and the sound to play can be customized. The program is currently at 0.5.0 (beta) pending final testing, and I welcome your feedback on it. August 17, 2004 - Switched over to the new website format. In case the leets have nibbled at this or that, please let me know if there are any broken links or other issues to fix. |
